We have opposite seafood tastes. I hate salmon, or as I like to call it, stinkfish. My aunt and uncle send us a gift basket every Christmas with a smoked salmon fillet in it, and the cat gets it. I practically gag while I'm scooping it into his food bowl.

I don't have very many texture issues when it comes to food. Like, I can't think of one thing that I hate the texture of. Gristle? That's because you can't chew it.

Huh. Properly cooked shrimp isn't supposed to be like hard fat. It's supposed to be more like shellfish, like scallops or clams. I find both clams and oysters to be nauseatingly gross tasting.

Lobster and crab are both sweet and tender. I don't think that there's really anything I can compare them to. The fake crab is white fish (cod, scrod, halibut, etc.) sweetened and compressed into logs. It doesn't taste much like real crab.

Dammit. Now I want to go fishing and catch some crappies and bluegills. I don't have a license, though. Or a fishing pole.
