More fabric

Has anybody used the duchesse satin from Fabric.com? Is it chintzy looking or does it do the "ooh, it could be silk" thing?

I have it in grey. It's fairly heavy and thick, with a nice luster (not shiny).

I haven't from there, but I have samples from practically every single other place on the web. jandofabrics.com had the nicest (unless you're looking for something lightweight, it was the heaviest, with the least amount of costumey luster). I don't think I could say "it could be silk" about any of the poly satins in person, but in pictures, the texture & lustre was identical to the silk I ended up getting (but I couldn't get the same spectrum of color to reflect off the poly, which was the thing I actually needed for this particular project, hence the silk).
