Secret shame!

I am not listening to Phil Collins. I am not listening to Phil Collins. I am not listening to Phil Collins. I am not listening to Phil Collins. I am not listening to Phil Collins. I am not listening to Phil Collins. I am especially not listening to Phil Collins songs written for Disney movies.

If I say it enough times, it will be true.

I am not being impressed by Donny Osmond's singing. I am not being impressed by Donny Osmond's singing. I'm not . . .

Oh, shit.

*hee* I'll admit to having a secret, girlish passion for Donny Osmond.

Of course, it could be because my husband bears a striking resemblance to Mr. Osmond.

Mister, I'll make a man out of YOU!

I promise not to tell anyone. Because then I'd have to admit that Donny Osmond kinda found his niche singing stage musical stuff.

I saw him in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in Chicago one year. I swear, when he was flying over the stage he looked down MY cleavage! And I *squee'ed*!

::blush::

Sorry, dear. I love that song.

That's kind of creepy. Your husband doesn't long for a coat of many colors does he? Or whip recruits for the Chinese army into shape? Oh no, did you guys meet in the army?

[identity profile] silverstah.livejournal.com 2008-05-14 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
Thankfully, he does not long for a coat of many colors, and has never whipped the Chinese army into shape. He also has never had a singing group with his brother and sister - although they all have pretty decent voices. ;)

It's just a freakish, freakish coincidence. (Did I mention freakish? *grin*)

Did they send me daughters when I asked for sons?

I know! I'm so used to thinking of him in context of "The Donny and Marie Show" that I find it difficult to wrap my head around the fact that he's actually a pretty talented musical actor.

Hee hee hee! The dangers of live theatre.

I probably would have squee'ed too.

I do too. But I find it weird that it always makes me go, "Yeah! Donny Osmond! Awesome!" Little bit of rock and roll notwithstanding, it always gives me my own private WTF? moment.

What ? Something wrong with Phil Collins and Disney ? *hides her Tarzan CD*

I like that movie - better than the stupid princess movies.

I think it might be scary that I know all the words...

What the hell's wrong with listening to Phil Collins? The man has a great voice.

There's nothing wrong with Phil Collins. He's just lightyears away from what I usually listen to. The same goes for the Donny Osmond, as I don't listen to the kinds of musicals that he usually goes for. Also, Donny has the '70s to live down.
