Amazing bedhead

This morning I had the most amazing bedhead I have had in weeks. Usually I wake up and my hair doesn't look much different than it does when brushed, but today it was completely out of control. The part was on the wrong side, I had serious volume, and tousled does not even begin to cover the state of my locks.

([livejournal.com profile] aesiron, I hope this contents you.)

Also, I found this 1860s spencer on Ravelry today, and I want it. (Flickr link) I'm beginning to think that entering into Civil War reenactment is becoming an inevitability.

Another boring evening in the house, because I'm still not cleared to work outside. Not until my phlegminess is gone.

That IS an impressive bedhead!

Hey, how far up in the wilds of Wisconsin are you, anyway? I ask cuz I'm sort of peripherally associated with lots of reenactors of various eras between Milwaukee and Chicago, and I might be USEFUL that way!

I am on the other side of the state from Milwaukee, about halfway between Madison and Platteville. Dodgeville area.

There's another Doper on the boards who does Civil War reenactments whose name I am blanking on right now. She made some suggestions for events once, and has even shown up in the area for something I wanted to go to, but passed on.
